Absolutely beautiful, black, solid wood table! It is not engineered wood or cheap MDF. Very easy to assemble. Just add the four legs. One of the two support pieces that go on the underside of the table came unattached during shipping but it was easy to rescrew it back into place. I needed a small table to go in my open concept living room/kitchen area that I could also use similarly to an island. This table fit the bill for me and was easy to assemble. The box is around 30lbs so wasn’t too heavy and the instructions were easy to follow and took about an hour including unpacking with two people assembling it. I ordered two small chairs for seating.
