It is not real wood, so I would be careful with the surface—I wouldn’t place hot pans directly on it or set drinks down without a coaster. Assembly definitely takes some time because there are a lot of pieces, but everything is clearly labeled and matched to the panels, so it’s easy to stay organized if you follow the instructions. It took me a little while to get it all put together, but once it was finished, it was absolutely worth it. The construction feels solid and sturdy, and it looks much more expensive than I expected. The built-in LED lighting is a nice touch and gives it a modern look. There’s plenty of room for seating, meal prep, and entertaining, plus the cabinets and drawers provide a ton of storage.
