Despite more than enough packing protection, we still received it with a bad ding in the front side. We had thoroughly checked the shower basin where the box was damaged. There was no basin damage in the damaged box areas. Thus, we didn't notify company within specified time. This shower basin was obviously repackaged to hide the bad ding and the bad ding is about a half inch high along outside front edge. It will be an overwhelming challenge to hide it with flooring. kit# 2 luxury shower surrounds for the DIY enthusiast in pre-cut kits for common shower wall sizes. These panels are lightweight, easy to carry, cut, and fabricate. Cutting can be done with a skill saw, angle grinder, jigsaw, etc. To fabricate you can use a Dremel tool, miter, etc. We suggest using Loctite power grab ultimate adhesive or boss 125 adhesive to adhere panels to the walls but compatibility to the other substrates might need testing. We suggest using 100% clear silicone to glue the trim to the panels. We suggest applying the adhesive to the panel, applying circle blobs of caulking about 6”-8” apart throughout the sheet. We also suggest applying 100% silicone, about a ¼” continuous bead around the panel outside edges to ensure a good edge seal and prevent moisture or debris from getting behind the panel.
