Still waiting on the chairs for this table. The base is heavy and the wood is excellent quality. I wish the tabletop were about an inch thicker, as it is quite thin with a very thick/dense base which throws off the aesthetics a bit. Assembly was a little tricky because the leaf did not align with the pre-drilled holes. Moving the hardware fixed this. I REALLY like this table. My entire home was planned around organic, japandi, wabi sabi design and this table fits the bill! It’s a dark wood but it’s a muted dark tone which is exactly what I wanted. Took a star off because there were minor dings in the top when it arrived.
