These pads are a sure cure for anything my yorkie can drop onto my very light blue carpet. They work on new spots as well as some older spots that did not shampoo very well. After which I must clean the machine and put it away after it gets dry. The pad packaging rips open and I step on them with my shoe and leave it for as long as I choose. I love this vacuum. It works great. The only thing is the cord will get stuck in the bottom of the vacuum if you’re not careful while using.
