Functional piece. Even though it is not solid wood, it looks nice. A solid wood piece like this would be great but ! The seat cushion is fine, nice that it has Velcro to stay in place. We’ll use in walk in closet, but easily could use at mudroom or front entrance or wherever u need a bench. Maybe better for kids and women’s shoes but size 9.5 men’s Merrill low top hikers in the example photo just to give an idea. (Women NB size 8). Jolene. Madison, WI. Tue Oct 13 2026

The Painswick Storage Bench is the perfect perch for removing boots in an entryway or garden shoes in the mud room. Crafted of pine in a smooth finish, Painswick's three removable woven baskets provide no-fuss storage, and a white cotton cushion completes the look with comfort and farmhouse charm.

Turned out very nice! I love it! Going to put this in my foyer for people to put their shoes in. Took about 30-45 minutes to put together wasn’t bad at all. The only thing we had an issue with is with one of the screws on the basket. We had to leave that one out because it would not screw in for some reason and it doesn’t affect the usability of it because it’s the screw in the back. Overall very nice buy highly recommend!. This bench doesn’t just sit in your space—it breathes history into it. Crafted from salvaged timber, each plank carries the whispered stories of its past life. The natural cracks, nail holes, and variations in tone aren’t flaws—they’re proof of character, preserved with reverence. The design is deliberately simple—just thick, solid wood atop sturdy splayed legs—because when material speaks this eloquently, it needs no ornament. No two pieces are alike, and yours will develop its own soft sheen over years of use. This is slow decor for those who believe beauty should be earned, not manufactured.

The bench is really attractive, perfect size. I gave it 4 stars because I personally felt that the reclaimed wood part could have been better quality for the price.. Cindy. Granada Hills, CA. Wed Oct 21 2026

Designed with a mid-century modern fluted finish, it keeps shoes organized while providing comfortable seating for everyday use. Ideal for entryways, hallways, bedrooms, or small apartments.

I bought the Cabinet thinking it looked great and would hold the electronic devices that had been sitting on the floor in a niche under a window in my living room for 5 years. It turns out the two side sections shelfs were not adjustable so everything did not fit inside, but everything does fit neatly out of sight behind it, so were happy and can store something else inside.. Ronald. Lawrenceville, GA. Tue Oct 06 2026
