I just got this so theres no longevity in this review, though I will go back and update after a while. This item is heavy, two packages arrived totaling around 200 lbs, I should have checked weight before buying as a female who lives alone. But this is beautiful. My kitchen is small so I knew it would take up the majority of my space but it surpassed my expectations in the look department. The only reason I mentioned the weight is that if you dont like it, it almost feels like you are kind of stuck with it and I read in another review that Wayfair was not as happy to return to his item so people should be aware. Love the storage space, I went from not having enough counter or cabinet space in my kitchen to having extra space. It is heavy duty, strong and good quality. Im only take a star away because there was a part of my foundation that was a bit compromised, and because this item is so huge and heavy replacing a part especially on the foundation isnt easy. I had it professionally put together and the handy man showed me the issue. Im going to report it to Wayfair but Im not sure how they could fix this and I also read someone having a similar issue, which, in all fairness could be the delivery process, you have to handle with care. After taxes this thing was almost 800 bucks so for anything to be compromised is a bit upsetting for me. However I do love it and cant wait to put it to use. I wanted to move to a bigger home but chose not to and Ive always wanted a kitchen island and it is visually perfect. The design kind of looks like granite but it isnt, but the top is very sturdy which I like. It looks elegant and fancy and I do believe it is fairly priced, although expensive, even with the minor foundation issues this is not flimsy at all, it is very strong, I am able to sit on it and it does move , rock or sway. So far Im in love with it.. Marian. Hawthorne, CA. Fri Oct 23 2026

Great buy for the price! This piece was delivered quickly in 2 heavy boxes. Yes, 2 adults are needed to move and assemble. First impression efficiently and safely packaged. I could see right away that I liked the colorwood grain pattern of the product, and the (many) pieces looked well-made with smooth edges. Tons of hardware included. Next, we used the team approach to confirm all pieces where included—one called out part number, the other checked it off on the instructions. Speaking of instructions these are very well done. Typically, I see a self-assemble product like this and I’m CERTAIN I won’t be able to do this. With this product, the instruction booklet is long, detailed and made up primarily of pictures showing how each section is put together. The steps are over-explained through these drawings, making it very clear how each step goes together. These were some of the clearest instructions I’ve ever worked with! The wood pieces went together smoothly. Using the diagram instructions to ensure we had everything oriented properly (are all the holes matching the diagram, etc.) worked really well. The insane number of hardware pieces led to an incredibly sturdy construction. Everything went together exactly as described in the instruction booklet. All pre-drilled holes lined up, we even had extra screws and other hardware in case of a misplaced or broken piece. This took 2 adults 3 full hours to assemble. One of us is extremely mechanically inclined, the other is good at organizing and checking off vompleted strps. The final product is sturdy and good looking. For the price, the engineered wood is nicely priced. I’m happy with this island!. Teressa. MI. Sun Oct 11 2026

Upgrade your kitchen with this 66.9"W Kitchen Island, a multifunctional centerpiece that combines ample storage with seating space. The opposite side features a spacious open area that comfortably accommodates 2–3 chairs, transforming the island into a breakfast nook or casual dining space. With its thoughtful layout and practical storage solutions, this island makes your kitchen both functional and inviting.

This is well made. I took one star off because of the instructions. The well space is deep and can accommodate three bar chairs. The drawers for storage are deep and the cabinets hold a lot. I would recommend that two people put it together to cut down on the length of time. It took my son about 6 hours to do on his own but part of that time was used to correct problems because of the instructions. The instructions aren’t the easiest to understand and leave important steps out. For instance, the drawer rails come in one piece rather than separated in two. They don’t tell you to separate them or how to do it.. Chloe. Fri Oct 02 2026

The tabletop supports up to 154.3 lbs, while each storage shelf supports up to 33.1 lbs, providing dependable space for everyday kitchen use.

I really love the look of this kitchen island. The design is modern, stylish, and the combination of the faux marble countertop and wood finish looks beautiful. It has a high-end appearance that would complement a variety of kitchen styles, and I think the overall size and layout could comfortably accommodate two stools, making it a nice spot for casual seating, enjoying a quick breakfast, or having a cup of coffee. Unfortunately, my biggest issue with this island is the height. It is much shorter than I expected and, unfortunately, not practical for food preparation in my kitchen. I am 5’7” tall, and my existing kitchen countertops are 37 inches high, while this island sits at just under 30 inches. That difference is significant, and I would have to bend over uncomfortably to chop vegetables, prepare ingredients, or do other everyday kitchen tasks. I really wanted this island to work because I love its appearance and features, but the height makes it difficult to use as a functional kitchen workspace. It might be better suited as a dining table or for someone who specifically wants a lower surface. I would strongly recommend checking the height measurements carefully before purchasing, especially if you plan to use it for regular food preparation. It is beautiful, but sadly, the height was a dealbreaker for me.. Anonymous. Thu Oct 22 2026

This thing is a game stopper honestly it’s a coffee bar. I’ll be able to use it in the kitchen when I want to host. It’s super functional highly highly highly recommend.. Kusal. Winter Springs, FL. Mon Oct 12 2026

A versatile and stylish kitchen island has impact and immediately anchors your cooking space. It sits on a wood base in muted grey finish for an elegant, yet cozy look, while stainless steel top showcases a sleek, modern touch. The kitchen island is accented with towel rack, two drawers and four open storage, serving all your kitchen and dining room needs.

Overall it is a nice kitchen island and is what I was looking for. I was worried that the island might be too big, but it has a nice size and decent working height. The stainless steel top will help provide a hygienic surface when I perform tasks like making sausages. The open shelves will help for storing the fry pans and Dutch ovens that are usually clumsier to put in the cupboards. The side compartments will help for storing the cat food. The kitchen island will be more useful than the kitchen table I never used. The unit ships in two major pieces - the top and the lower part. There are also two smaller counter supports for the overhung section. The top is very heavy. It is bonded to a thick section of wood. Assembly is pretty easy with about 8 fasteners. The stainless steel corners of the top have some grinding marks on it and give the corners a slightly different color. They could have been buffed better but are acceptable. I broke a drawer pull during assembly. They are installed on the inside of the drawer. I did not realize that the pulls had posts that went part of the way into the hole. When removing the pull to put it on the outside. One half of the pull came out and the pull broke. Partially it was my fault but the pulls are flimsy and thin. I managed to order some solid brass pulls, so I recovered. If you order extract the pulls evenly when relocating.. Dave S. Minneapolis. Sat Apr 13 2024
