48 Inch Electric Cooktop With Downdraft

The GASLAND 31.5-inch Electric Built-in Cooktop with Downdraft integrates cooking and ventilation in one space-saving unit. Its retractable 330 CFM downdraft system eliminates smoke and odors without a ceiling hood. Features four ceramic glass burners—including dual-ring elements—with 9 power levels (1,000W–1,800W) for versatile cooking. The touch-sensitive controls offer precise heat adjustment, timer functions, and child-lock safety. Stainless steel construction ensures durability, while auto-shutoff and overheating protection enhance safety. Designed for seamless countertop installation, it’s ideal for apartments, small kitchens, or island setups where traditional hoods aren’t feasible.

This is a big upgrade from our previous glass cooktop. All of the knobs (previous model) are now touch screen, so much easier to clean around, maintain, etc. The downdraft is also a lot easier to maintain with a basket to catch anything that falls. Instructions seem to be not too bad, waiting on handyman's schedule for full install.. Michael. Rome, GA. Sat Jul 11 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This GE downdraft works great! I had a Viking before & it needed repair every other month- I was not happy!. Bevvyp. Southampton, PA. Tue Oct 14 2025

Bosch's inventive downdraft ventilation systems keep mealtime fresh by quietly purifying the air while you cook. They’re sleek, built-in, retract out of sight when not in use, and are beautifully designed to seamlessly integrate into any kitchen. Maintain an odor-free kitchen and breathe easier knowing that smoke, steam, grease and odors are quietly and effectively taken care of. And the dishwasher-safe mesh filters are easy to clean.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We replaced our old(1999) system with Bosch and couldn't be happier. New system is much quieter. We are using our system much more because it is easy to hear and talk while using. When in use, the Bosch is taller and seems to catch more of the smoke and odors. Very pleased with our upgrade.. Beautiful oven. Works great. I love having so many burner options. My only critique is that it takes longer than expected to preheat. Be prepared that this is delivered on a pallet and weighs A TON!!!. Jessica. Naches, WA. Tue Jan 27 2026

The Treviso Downdraft is chic, simple, and simply spectacular. Out of sight when not in use for those coveted open kitchen sightlines, this one-and-done hidden downdraft has everything you need, and nothing you don’t. A sleek, efficient louver makes this a very visually pleasing solution for nearly any kitchen.

Replaced an older downdraft system from the 90s, this unit was best for me because beneath the countertop, the motor can be movedpositioned either in front of or behind the unit. It rises much taller than my previous unit and seems to have decent strength, although of course, nothing will compare to a hood mounted above the cooktop.. Elizabeth. NY. Wed Jan 21 2026

This thing is pretty amazing actual. My only complaint is the dial to raise and lower the hood/CFM speed. The metal dial itself is of nice construction but the black bezel that surrounds it feels cheap.. Sean. Topeka, KS. Tue Jan 26 2021

I absolutely love this range. There are multiple burner sizes and the weighted control knobs provide controlled, tactile feedback which I greatly prefer over digital burner controls! The ranges are also wonderful and I like the slide out sturdy rack system. If I could improve this item, I would make an adapter shelf to fill the hole in the air fryer rack when you remove the actual basket because if you leave the rack in without the basket then there is a big hole in the very nice slide out rack which feels wasteful because it then requires removal of the entire unit instead of just the basket .. The Bosch 36" 800 Series framed electric cooktop is sleek in design and features SpeedBoost® which adds even more power to speed up the cooking process.

The stove top was great but I wanted induction Unfortunately search for induction cooktop showed me electric stove top too. Ilona. Nelson, BC. Wed Sep 20 2023

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall we are very happy with the performance of this range. There are 2 reasons it is not 5 stars. First issue is the cooktop sound is much louder with use than my previous Bosch cooktop. Secondly it has a great panel for the oven however it is either too sensitive or placed in a position that is too easily turned on when using the cooktop. Sometimes it's clothes, other times it's the cooks body simply leaning to stir something on the stove.. Anonymous. Sun Aug 16 2026

Powered by Bluetooth, precision temperature control lets you use smart pans to take your results to the next level, dialing into the exact temperature desired, as you do in your oven. In addition to flawless functionality, a smooth glass surface is easy to clean and beveled edges bring design sophistication to your kitchen.

There is too much of a delay in the heat up and cool down time for the burners. Responsiveness is slow. The timer alarm volume is so low you can’t tell when it goes off. Economics for controls could be improved by spacing out the controls a little more. Screamer. Alabama. Mon Jan 19 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] love the 800 Series downdraft we paired wiht our Bosch Induction cooktop. When not in use it is flush with the stovetop which helps create a flat seamless flow on the countertop. When we have used it, it works very well. The unit was compatible with the exhaust vent from our old Jenn-Air cook top. Highly recommend this downdraft. Iras. Fri Nov 14 2025

This is the jewel of my brand new kitchen! It’s gorgeous to look at and cooks like a dream. Everyone that comes over oooh’s and aaah’s at it. They are so jealous of my range... I love it! Glass top is easy to clean, the front panel, not so much. The touch control panel is extremely sensitive. Somehow I keep turning on the steam clean function while I’m cleaning it. All in all, a superb choice! Delivery was great. They unboxed it before they brought it in so I had no boxes to take out. It was very nicely protected from the factory too.. Cheryl. Jacksonville, FL.
