Perfect for my 14” tall mattress that I also received from Wayfair! Previously, I ordered an extremely expensive mattress and was so disappointed with it, but already had the bedtime that needed height-so this was a perfect addition! It took 30 seconds to unfold, set in the frame, and zip up the cover. It’s super heavy duty and my heavy mattress doesn’t sag at all. I would certainly recommend this product if your mattress needs support and a little boost!. Crystal. Springfield, IL. Wed Oct 14 2026

The bunkie board split bunkie board provides a surface foundation for any platform beds, bunks, and daybeds. It adds support to the mattress and will keep the mattress stay in good shape thus extending the life of your mattress. It will give firm bottom support for the mattress and raise the mattress by about. When a mattress is placed directly on slats or metal springs, the mattress will tend to rip or sink. These can be avoided with the use of a bunkie board. Using a bunkie board doubles the mattress' life expectancy. This bunkie board is a good alternative instead of a box spring that may be too high for day beds. It will give the bed a lift without adding much height. This bunkie board is strong enough to be used directly on the bed frame instead of a box spring. It will give the mattress a lift which is quite low but will hold up the mattress. It is wrapped in a stitch-bonded nonwoven fabric. It meets federal standards 1632 and 1633 fire codes. This bunkie board will give you enduring comfort and durability for excellent sleep. The split design will give you convenience and easy mobility since the 2 piece varieties are very lightweight utilizing 2 smaller pieces making them easier to carry and maneuver through the cramped quarters of an apartment house. A sturdy RTA mattress foundation for a restful night's sleep at a value-added price! This box spring foundation technology is designed to extend the life of your mattress while evenly distributing weight, and providing support and stability that reduces mattress movement. The complete frame is wrapped in a woven polyester fabric cover. While easy to transport, this frame fits and stores in tight spaces and is ready to assemble in any bedroom space to suit your needs.

I've never assembled a box spring before, and it seems sturdy for this price point. I ordered the twin size, and was able to put it together by myself except for one step - I wanted to stretch the slats all the way to the edge of the recessed area so the straps would be taut. Consider wearing gloves for assembly, lots of splintery wood. My only suggestion for the seller is they should put an extra of each of the smaller hardware bits just in case they got lost. I almost lost a spring washer twice!. Kimberly. Broomfield, CO. Wed Sep 16 2026

I bought this because my mattress needed to be a little higher to be even with my nightstands. I live alone, and it looked like I might be able to deal with these folding foundations on my own. The box they were delivered in was a bit heavy and awkward to get into the house (I wish all large boxes had handles punched into them), but once I did, it was easy enough to maneuver the foundations into place under my existing mattress. Another plus is that they lift the mattress above a one inch lip around the bed's platform, making it quite a bit easier to put clean sheets on. So far, they don't make any noise and solved all the problems I was hoping to solve.. Elaine. Cincinnati, OH. Thu Sep 03 2026
