I’ve owned the fridge for about 3 weeks and it is a solid upgrade. PROS: It looks great and elevates the look of the kitchen to gourmet. The water/filter quality is top tier and the auto sense fill feature saves time when filling up a glass or a measuring cup. And of course it chills and freezes nicely with features that boost the capability for special circumstances such as installation or recovering from a power outage. CONS. It’s missing a few “normal folks” features that I’ve enjoyed over the years and that I would expect for the cost. 1. It is massive and takes 4-6 people to deliver it; annotate that during delivery or they won’t send enough people to get it off the truck. Also, installation and haul away aren’t included. Be prepared to pay a few hundred extra. 2. The door isn't magnetized - so it won’t hold a magnet. 3. Beautiful and looks just like the pictures; however, the controls are a bit hard to understand and navigate. There are “duration” functions where you can turn cooking times on and off and it is difficult to tell whether they are on or not and for which oven.. oh and it only all for military time display. Not good for us. The oven worked as intended the first few days and then suddenly the small oven stopped heating. We can’t figure out why (is it the duration function or not? And no we are not tech-dumb - my husband is an engineer who can figure most anything out and this is our second Ilve but this one operates differently.. ) and now will need to call in a technician and spend more money on this. First of all the black champagne bronze is shockingly gorgeous! The legs make it look like furniture. This arrived just in time for my Memorial Day party with 80 guest. My caterer used my oven and said it worked like their commercial oven at restaurant. I was able to cook breakfast next day for 23 people with ease. Since then I’ve Baked and used oven everyday and I have to say,so far I’m in love with this range. Made of high quality. Small oven fits appetizers or sides .
