Out of the box, this griddle will NOT fit a Prestige 450, but I found it was easily altered to fit. As it is designed to fit the larger surface area of a Prestige 500, the rear spacer needs 1/4” cut off each side, and a small notch cut (see attached photos). The griddle is also too large front to back, but a couple of self-tapping screws along the back edge and inside the front lip of the barbecue prevent any movement. This griddle is really well made. Being stainless steel, there’s no seasoning needed - just clean with water after use to steam clean any food residue off. Also, there was only one beer can size that fitted in. With that holder the fat of the chicken fell on the grill during cooking and you had to watch that the chicken doesn't catch fire. The Napoleon roaster is sturdy because of the roasting pan and you can spin it around easily to cook the chicken evenly. The fat drips in the roasting pan and not on the fire so the chicken can be cooked on direct or indirect heat. It is also very easy to clean. You can fill the central container with wathever liquid you want which is a nice feature. I will always use it in the future and I'll try roasting vegetables at the same time on the pan.. Er25.
