The only reason I gave a 4 star was because I believe the delivery was handled poorly. And therefore the table top was damaged. To not put it all on the delivery driver, the packaging for a 70lb. tabletop was too thin with only 2 thin styrofoam sheets to protect the top with no corner padding. I did have simple delivery instructions added to my order but they were not followed. So now to my new replaced table top, and the Great customer service I received, with a replacement shipped and received in less than a week. I just absolutely love it. Perfect color as shown with the wood graining beautiful. The thickness is more than the original top I replaced and the edging around the table makes it look custom. I used my original table base and chairs and have a whole new updated vacation home look.. Linda. US. Mon Oct 12 2026

I'm glad that I purchased this. Right size for my office and the price was not bad either.. Sherese. Laurelton, NY. Sun Nov 01 2026

It’s a nice, dense wood, unfinished desk and matching cabinet. I took a star off of the rating because the shipment was missing all three wooden knobs/pulls for the cabinet. I didn’t bother to ask for replacements because I plan to buy some decorative pulls for them anyway, but it was inconvenient that I had to scrounge up some old knobs just to be able to put the drawers in and use it in the meantime.. The top is a heavy board that is edge and finger joint glued together and finished in veneer. The legs are also fingerjointed boards. It generally looks nice, but the finish is quite sloppy. there are some rough spots where it was not thoroughly sanded too. I purchased this table because it was on sale. I would not pay full price for this table based on the finish.. Krystal. Port Ewen, NY. Sun Jul 26 2026

Made of solid pine wood from renewable resources.

It’s nice, but like some of the other reviews, the bottom drawer did not fit initially so I had to saw a piece of wood in half for it to fit not a huge deal, but if you’re not handy with power tools, or have a local mill to help you with it. This writing desk brings streamlined organization and a clean-lined look to your workspace. It's crafted with a solid and engineered wood frame, and it rests on splayed legs for a mid-century modern look. Three built-in drawers provide out-of-sight storage for office supplies, small electronics, and notebooks to keep your work area clutter-free. The expansive table top offers generous room for a laptop, desk lamp, and daily work essentials.

I love the quality of the desk. It’s heavy, very sturdy. But I’m disappointed that the color is (at best) a medium-tone walnut. The images on Wayfair showed a MUCH darker, rich walnut and that’s what I wanted. Other than that, I’m pleased. If the color was accurate, I would have given the desk 5 stars. Wayfair, do better with checking your images. If the color is any indication, your “Wayfair verified” claim is pretty empty. Do you even look at the “verified” products?. Brian. Trumbull, CT.
