I recently got this kitchen island, and I’ve got to say, it’s been a great addition to my space. Putting it together definitely takes two people—it’s pretty heavy—but once it’s assembled, you can tell it’s built to last. Everything lined up nicely, and the instructions were easy enough to follow. The butcher block–style top is my favorite part. It gives the island a nice, classic look and feels super solid when I’m chopping or prepping food. It’s got that real wood feel that makes the whole piece look more high-end than it actually costs. Even though it’s sturdy, the wheels make it easy to move around when I need to clean or shift things around. Once it’s in place, the locks on the wheels hold it steady so it doesn’t budge. Overall, it’s a really nice mix of function and style. It adds a good amount of counter and storage space, looks great in the kitchen, and feels like it’ll last for years. My husband and I ordered 2 of these and are loving them. The fact that they have wheels is great. It took me several hours to assemble. Instructions were easy to follow. A few of the parts were damaged but I was able to order replacement parts easily at no extra charge. Wayfair is great at backing their products up. The only struggle I had was the metal doors don’t look like they are going to line up so I spent extra time on them. As soon as I placed them the doors lined up better. I think I was on a slope on my driveway when I assemble but as soon as I placed them on level surface they were fine.
