This door is huge and heavy! The door looks amazing, we did use a header which I highly recommend. The pre- drilled holes are 16 inches apart, our studs were closer together. Good value and well designed and manufactured. As others have mentioned, it takes a little trimming to get all the pieces to fit exactly in place, but the end product is solid, good looking and functions well.. Thomas. Kure Beach, NC. Sat Sep 12 2026

SMARTSTANDARD is committed to providing high-quality, customized, and durable Barn Doors to satisfy your home decoration and security needs.

This product is very solid and high quality. Only thing I didn’t like was that the satin nickel rail is 3 pieces for an 8 foot rail. Makes installation more difficult than a one or two piece rail. The other door I purchased used a black rail that was 2 pieces. Other than that the door is solid and easy to assemble but very heavy. I wasn’t expecting it to be so heavy but it is a 48 x 84 solid door so it makes sense. Love having full access to our closet now!. Neal. Billerica, MA. Tue Sep 08 2026

Immaculate Finish: We start with a solid barn door surface, apply a thin MDF layer, and then finish it with a special PVC coating. The result is a stunning barn door with a glossy surface.

So happy with this purchase. It looks amazing. We chose a larger size than the closet opening and it covers perfectly.. Donna. Plymouth, MA. Sun Sep 13 2026
