This sleeping mat is actually pretty comfortable. The foam is dense enough to add a good amount of support without being too hard. It has a nice anti-slip bottom so it stays in place. It is a little bulky when folded up but I still plan on using it for camping. We have a few foam camping beds that I paid a significant amount of money for and I have a feeling that this will be the bed everyone fights over when we camp. Update: Still really like the cot mattress BUT the bag is useless. There is no way to fold, bend or squish the pad in the carry bag. Do not know what this company is thinking. Original: Really like this cot. Has gripping material on the bottom so it won't slide around on a canvas cot. Also has a firmer layer on the bottom and nice memory foam with a soft cover to top it off. Roll nicely and has straps to hold it rolled up in place a over the shoulder carry bag. It’s a regular fold out chair and not very comfortable as is. You would need an extra cushion for it to be comfortable. My husband tried it out and he said it was very uncomfortable and made for a difficult sleep. He tried it again with a mattress pad and he said it was much better.
