Update: Even though I initially thought this was the perfect rug, it is definitely not for high traffic areas. I had it in my living room - It's just my husband and I. It has matted terribly. I need to order something that doesn't have any pile. It was finally installed two days. After cleaning the floor, my husband unrolled the rug. With great anticipation, I waited to see what it looked like. It is absolutely more beautiful than I ever imagined. It had a little bit of curled edges; however, my husband turned them the opposite way to try to uncurl them and it ended up laying nicely. We've had this runner on steps + hallway in our multi-level house for a couple of years now. We like it so much we're going to buy the same one for a hallway on a different level. It is mostly tan/brown but has a grey overlay in places as well. So it looks great with both beiges and greys.
