It's a really beautifully made coffee table for the front of love seat or just a smaller for a full couch. Styles well with Mission furniture. 1st time I am refinishing Rubberwood. It is a dense wood that's well made. Recommend: Use a sanding block & lightly sand with #120. Clean. Apply Wood Conditioner. Then, apply an oil based stain several times. Finally, Polyurethane as the sealant. I did several test applications underneath with & without sanding & Wood Conditioner, etc. It was worth the effort as it made a huge difference in final results. This wood is not like oak or pine. However, I do recommend it if you enjoy refinishing & staining. It is a nice piece of furniture that easily goes together with little effort.. Rosemarie. This is the second item I got from Joss Main and wow another really great item. Beautiful, very very easy to assemble and real hard wood, I’m not sure what else one could need. This product have 16 screws, with inserts already interlaid into the wood and it takes about 10 minutes for one person to assemble it.
