These bar stools are amazing! Exactly what we wanted. A good sturdy, well built bar stool for our extra tall counter. They are hard to find. We look forward to many years with these beautiful, well built bar stools. Easy assembly, just connecting seat/back to bottom! The wood seats match our kitchen cabinets. Very comfortable to sit in. The seat is plenty wide and back is very comfortable, too. We chose the black metal with solid wood medium color oak seats, with swivel. And they are made in the USA. The set of replacement bar stools was in perfect condition! I love the chairs, but I will admit that I have to get used to the fact that they do not automatically return to their original position when you stand up! However, the first set of chairs I received were obviously returned by a previous customer; they had been partially unwrapped with hardware removed and loose in the box, and there was a large dent in the back of one of the chairs. In addition, the stain on both seats was not applied correctly and visibly damaged.
