However, I did find assembly definitely took 2 people and we had quite a time getting the drawer in once we assembled it. After looking for an assembly video (no luck), I read through the reviews and found one that mentioned the drawer slide was installed backwards. Sure enough, that was our issue! Great stand…you can only mount the tv one way though and for us that meant the doors would open toward the bed as we put this at the end of our bed. Our TV cabinet arrived quickly and was packaged very securely. It comes in two boxes and it is very heavy, so you might need two people to carry it in. The instructions were good and all the pieces were there, which isn't always the case, so very happy with that. It is not an easy assembly, but there are moving parts and a lot of smaller pieces, so that's not a surprise. At one point we needed two people to stabilize a section while tightening some screws, but for the most part, it's a one person job taking maybe 3-4 hours if you're not experienced. The look is nice. We got the light oak color and it's a little lighter than I expected, but looks good. The most important part is that it works perfectly. We haven't installed the TV yet, but the remote works and it slides up and down effortlessly. The only slight minus is that the remote has no instructions or directions. Tv floor stand mount will work for the purpose but not something I would want for daily use as it is crooked and that would make me crazy. It was very easy to put together with more than enough parts and options for different set ups and tvs. One other thing it doesn’t tell you is if your tv doesn’t match (which mine did) you may have to purchase an attachment.
