I am really pleasantly surprised by this table. It is very sturdy, looks well made. I would say the color leans more to Taupe than Grey. What I did find interesting and a little disappointing is that the marble top is actually made of smaller marble tiles. I will include pic but it may be hard to see. I'm guessing the pieces are about 3"x4" or so, and joined into very tight seems. You really have to look in just the right light to see the edges of the tiles. Running you hand over it, it feels like one solid piece of marble. I know the description didn't say 'slab' but I was kinda hoping... given the cost of this table, even on sale. Also wish there was a link to the chairs shown with it instead of making us pour over all counter height dining chairs. Overall, I am pleased and have gotten many compliments.. Ron G. Castaic, CA.
