Took a chance on this one since there weren't many reviews and glad I did. Very solid built. I plan to use this as an aquarium stand for a 35 gallon tank (probably 300lbs) and there won't be any problems. I'm a semi-handy person and I was putting this together on my own then my husband jumped in to help. In total took us maybe an hour. Alone, maybe would take 1.5 hours. And I know doors are always a problem when putting cabinets together and this one was not a problem. Lined up pretty well without much fuss. Black walnut color is spot on. Not too dark like some can be. You can still see the grain. And this is solid wood too. Not that cheap particle board stuff. Came with 2 shelves but I only put one in. The plant pot is a bright white color so you can see what the stain color looks like. Side note: I very much appreciate that nearly all of the packaging is recyclable. There was no styrofoam.. Jenny. I am extremely happy with this cabinet and honestly impressed with the quality for the price. I purchased it to use as dish and serving storage, and it works perfectly for that purpose. The shelves are spacious and sturdy, giving me plenty of room for plates, bowls, serving trays, and extra kitchen items while still looking stylish enough to display in my living space. The wood tone and woven door detail give it a warm coastal feel that looks much more expensive than it actually is. It fits beautifully with cottage and modern decor. The biggest thing I noticed right away was how solid and well designed it feels once assembled. The doors line up nicely, the hardware looks clean and modern, and the cabinet has a really polished finished appearance. I also appreciate that the shelves provide a lot of usable storage without making the piece feel bulky. The only drawback is that this requires complete assembly, and it definitely took a couple of hours from start to finish. I will admit, when I first opened the box and saw all the pieces and hardware, I thought I was going to lose my mind. However, I ended up being pleasantly surprised because whoever created the instruction manual did an amazing job. Every single piece and hardware bag was clearly labeled, and the instructions were extremely easy to follow step by step. Even though assembly was time consuming, it was honestly one of the easiest furniture builds I have done because everything was organized so well. Overall, I would absolutely recommend this cabinet. I am OBSESSED! We purchased two for under our television and they are gorgeous! Note they scratch easily but nothing you can’t fix with a sharpie. They are a pain to build the instructions are a little confusing- just make sure you know which direction will be the front and back of the unit before you assemble; we had to rebuild one of ours. The doors were pretty annoying to get aligned but I don’t think that is unique to this product. One of the six doors does not function with the push to close so we have to push back the lever manually when we want to close it but the door itself works.
