Great crate! We have a 180 pound cane Corsa that has occasional anxiety issues when his people family leave him. On our previous wire crates, his pushing actually bent the wire and warped the door so badly we needed to replace it. This crate is STRONG and there is no way our dog, despite his strength, can bend the bars. It is slightly narrower than our other wire crates, but he easily turns around in it. It was very easy to assemble, but it did take two people to hold parts still so that the hardware went in straight. I love the wheels! I can reposition the crate easily even with him in it. If you have puppies, the door on top would be a great way to get them in without running out of the front door. Note that if you put the wheels in place, the dog will need to step up into the crate 5 inches. If your dog has mobility issues, Id keep the crate on the floor to avoid the step up. Doors open smoothly and are wide enough to let even very large dogs inside with ease. This was expensive, but way cheaper in the long run as it was our second wire crate that he destroyed! Overall the crate is very nice, putting it together took quite a few hours but it came together. I took a star away because it’s kinda hard to open the front doors without putting your whole arm through the crate bars to unlatch the bottom & top. Also one side of the front crate door hinges didnt properly go in all the way so the doors are a little uneven. This is a well made solid crate for a large dog. I have a medium dog and she is going to have plenty of room to move around. I needed something that would be easy to clean because she has had stomach issues recently. She prefers laying on the tile floor rather than a cushion or dog bed. Her previous crate was furniture style and I constructed it without the bottom and she would lay on the tile. I decided to build this and place a towel on the crate bottom and use the tray that belongs underneath, on the inside of the crate. This way she is laying on the plastic and if she has an accident at night all I have to do is take the tray outside to clean it. No more bending down inside a piece of furniture to clean my floor. She appears to be getting over her tummy issues and seemed very content to sleep on the tray last night. Happy dog, happy dog mommy. I'm 62 and I built this by myself in about 2 hours. Directions are clear and easy to follow if you have some basic experience putting furniture together. My only concern is that the small screws that attach the door hinges are not a good fit, they don't tighten, they just keep spinning. Love it! It looks so much nicer than our old wire kennel. Our dog is 60 lb (shepherd but on the shorter side) and our other 25 lb and they can both cuddle in it. I would not recommend for any bigger of a dog unless you are not going to put the bottoms in the drawersare not going to put the drawers in.
