These turned out beautifully but I severely underestimated the amount of time it would take to get them to this point. I struggled to get these to stain as dark as I wanted. I tried just staining them at first and then had to go back and sand them down to get them to stain darker. Bought this for my Dad's modern farmhouse and it just brought everything together. Well-made and absolutely a stunning statement piece. The blue wood is so pretty in person and matched the blue-gray leather couches. The barn door hardware can be used both inside and outside. It is rustproof and waterproof. This door requires two people to assemble, it is not a traditional one-piece barn door. Pilot holes on the door are all pre-drilled and cut. The wooden panels can junction with each other for a tight fit. It is an unfinished barn door, you can easily paint it as you wish. Please leave the door dry for at least 24 hours. The barn door will work perfectly with our sliding barn door hardware kit and door handles. The bottom of the door had a pre-cut groove to fit with the floor guide that prevented the door from swinging back and forth.
