Very pleased with this composter. It took about 1hr to put together. The instructions were clear and concise. The screws and such were clearly labeled and in separate bags. The cranking and locking mechanism seem to work well. After I assembled it I entirely filled one side and was able to crank and lock without issue. Good looking product, but assembly was tedious. Follow the Instructions exactly for quickest results, but don’t expect to do it in two hours. Two glitches. The bolts supplied with the cart were not long enough and required a trip to the hardware store for longer ones. Only every other hole on one drum end were in alignment. A power drill remedied that. I have some concern about the quality of the steel fastening that will be contacting the composting material. Am concerned that the plated fasteners will corrode quickly. The quality seems as excellent as you will see on reviews elsewhere. Only a week in for us now now and this thing is 'cooking.' Note that, as another review 'complained', the color delivered was green, not grey as pictured and described online. Thankfully I had read that review and was fine with either color. The color issue is for Wayfair customer service and shouldn't affect the product quality review. The way they show it installed on the side of the house is pretty troublesome too. Loving this new backyard compost bin to replace our old one. There’s so much to like about this new COMPOSTING BIN FROM WAYFAIR 1. It is very sturdy and easy to use 2. It has 2 separate bins within the 50 gallon barrel design which rotates for faster composting of yard leaves and kitchen plant-based scraps 3. It is raised above the ground on a stand to keep the squirrels ️ and other rodents away that had been raiding our last bin 4. It has easy access to each of the 2 bins with just the turn of the bright green knob to open it 5. It blends beautifully into our backyard which is surrounded by trees and greenery which attracts lots of birds 6. WORD OF CAUTION from my Hubbie who put this together for me. The assembly was quite challenging and this took him about 3 hours to turn all the pieces into the completed bin.
