Our TV cabinet arrived quickly and was packaged very securely. It comes in two boxes and it is very heavy, so you might need two people to carry it in. The instructions were good and all the pieces were there, which isn't always the case, so very happy with that. It is not an easy assembly, but there are moving parts and a lot of smaller pieces, so that's not a surprise. At one point we needed two people to stabilize a section while tightening some screws, but for the most part, it's a one person job taking maybe 3-4 hours if you're not experienced. The look is nice. We got the light oak color and it's a little lighter than I expected, but looks good. The most important part is that it works perfectly. We haven't installed the TV yet, but the remote works and it slides up and down effortlessly. The only slight minus is that the remote has no instructions or directions. We don’t have a lot of wall space so we don’t have a tv in our living area. I wanted something that would allow me to incorporate a tv when necessary but stow it when not required. I chose this bc it wasn’t expensive. It could have been great had the designer added two holes for cables going from the top where the tv is and below where the 4 outlet strip is. Instead, the cables are exposed and tied down in the back. They could have been channeled down through the stand. Perhaps I can find someone to MacGyver it. Also, in hindsight sight, a shelf below the tv would have allowed for better control of a DVD player by remote. Easy enough to put together in spite of incorrect parts.
