This Bachman extendable dining table is just what we needed! It's expensive but the quality is very good. It is a solid wood indeed and it fits perfectly in our space. We needed something that will work for our not so big dining area for everyday use but can be extended to use when there's a big gathering. We got a different set of dining chairs coz we needed more back support and this table and its bench matched perfectly with the different chairs we got. This purchase was big enough that full service assembly was free from the Wayfair guys so that was really helpful. It's quite heavy too. My husband and I absolutely love the look and how versatile the design is. If you want to achieve a modern, timeless or even farmhouse vibe in your house, this will fit your needs! 10/10 recommend. . Counter height center pedestal tables are hard to find. They seem to be very cheap or very expensive. I purchased this as the “middle of the road” option. This table is heavy and sturdy, which I am very pleased with! I also really like the color. Overall the table looks and feels much more expensive than what it is. The only downside is that the grooves in the top of the table collect dust and you have to use a butter knife to clean them out.. Anonymous. Tue Oct 13 2026

Nice table. Well made, solid wood. Arrived with a few dings and scratches, decided to live with them rather than going through the hassle of returning. BUT my biggest issue is the color.
