Beautiful Table, But They Have to Fix the Packaging I really wanted to give this coffee table a better review because it is genuinely stunning. Unfortunately, after receiving two damaged tables, I simply can’t. The first table arrived so badly damaged that there was no possible way to salvage it. Wayfair responded promptly and sent a replacement, which I really appreciated. When the second table arrived, I opened the box and was immediately relieved because I couldn’t see any obvious damage. Once I removed all of the packaging, I was even happier. This is a beautiful, substantial piece of furniture. It is heavy, sturdy, feels great to the touch, and looks even better in person. Then I opened one of the drawers. The black drawer front came completely off. Thankfully, the second table is nowhere near as damaged as the first, but after receiving two of these, it’s incredibly frustrating to have another one arrive with damage. I honestly think the problem may be the decision to ship such a large, heavy piece fully assembled. If the drawer fronts are particularly vulnerable during shipping, I would rather have the table arrive mostly assembled and attach the drawer fronts myself. At this point, I can’t even figure out how to securely reattach the one that came off. The frustrating part is that the actual table is beautiful. I love the design, the walnut and black combination, the hidden storage, and the overall quality and weight of the piece. I would happily recommend it based on appearance and design alone. But Wayfair andor the manufacturer really needs to figure out how to package and ship this table so customers can actually receive it intact.
