I signed up for this having the read the reviews so I was expecting some trouble. The order arrived missing 24 small parts so I had to wait to assemble. I was so hesitant to buy this fabric print wall art based on the reviews, but I did decide to give it a chance and I’m glad I did! It’s beautiful. It only took me and my husband about 20 minutes to put it together. I did watch a video on YouTube on how to do the install and that was very helpful. You need to really pull the fabric firmly to stretch seamlessly over the frame and if you feel that it’s starting to show creases just take out where you see the crease and re-insert. I love the art. I think it’s beautiful. I don’t think it looks cheap. It can look cheap if you don’t put it together correctly so do keep in mind when you get to the edges where the two ends meet on the four corners make sure that you fold the fabric inward together and insert, and it will insert seamlessly.. Unsure because of some reviews, but it is perfect for my space. Yes, the “canvas” is a thin parachute-like sheet, but when stretched over the very sturdy frame as per instructions, it works. Not art gallery quality, but for the price point, you can’t beat it. I paid twice as much just to frame a different smaller canvas. I’m happy with it! It’s super simple and peaceful in my opinion which is just what I was looking for. I love the scale of it for the price! I was pretty hesitant to purchase this because I saw the comments about others’ concerns of “shower curtain material.” The material is like that, AND it had fold creases in it. However, I decided to give it a try anyway. Assembly took 15 minutes. You start by inserting metal corner pieces into the extruded aluminum frame sides. Attach the cross-brace. Then insert the canvas edge into a slot that runs along the inner edge of the frame. That’s it. Difficulty level 5 out of 10. Once hung, it looked pretty good. If this will be seen close-up, you can tell it’s a printed and stretched material. All the creases are gone.
