A compact, clean-lined buffet that blends classic Shaker styling with everyday storage. Finished in a subtle woodgrain, this 31.5" sideboard features a roomy top drawer and a double-door cabinet with an shelf — perfect for linens, dinnerware, media accessories, or entryway clutter. Round knobs and paneled doors add a touch of contrast and timeless appeal.

We purchased three oak cabinets to make a buffet. All came in perfect shape due to excellent packaging. Instructions are easy to follow pictures, but we found that putting hinges on panels 2 and 3, right from the start made it easier to put doors on at the end, since it’s hard to screw on when everything is put together. The trick at the end is to make sure the hinges are in closed position then place door holes over hinge, as if the door was completely closed. Then slowly open the door and the hinge will be in correct position to screw the remaining screws on door backside. Also double check that panel 5 is in correct position with locking mechanism near panel 4, otherwise you will have the holes of the mechanism on the top side of the shelf when finished and will have to use oak stickers to cover up the silver hardware. This buffet cabinet is quite elegant looking. The assembly was good. Had a bent hinge in the box so got ahold of wayfair to replace it. Its takes at least 3 weeks to get replacement parts so check it over right away and use the checklist if anything is damaged. I will update another picture once my hinge comes. Took a chance on this one since there weren't many reviews and glad I did. Very solid built. I plan to use this as an aquarium stand for a 35 gallon tank (probably 300lbs) and there won't be any problems. I'm a semi-handy person and I was putting this together on my own then my husband jumped in to help. In total took us maybe an hour. Alone, maybe would take 1.5 hours. And I know doors are always a problem when putting cabinets together and this one was not a problem. Lined up pretty well without much fuss. Black walnut color is spot on. Not too dark like some can be. You can still see the grain. And this is solid wood too. Not that cheap particle board stuff. Came with 2 shelves but I only put one in. The plant pot is a bright white color so you can see what the stain color looks like. Side note: I very much appreciate that nearly all of the packaging is recyclable. There was no styrofoam.. Jenny.
