This dresser is exactly what I needed; it's just the right size and the design is very clean and fits right in with my turntable setup. The design is very clean and I love how the drawers are flush with the walls and the handles are very discreet. The delivery was very quick, and my package arrived safely after only 3 days from ordering. This was my first time ever buying and assembling a new piece of furniture, and I did it all solo, so putting everything together was definitely a challenge. Although it took much longer than it should have (having 2 people really helps if you’re considering building this on your own), but it was enjoyable. The materials used are somewhat questionable, but it seems to be holding up quite well so far. I didn’t have any alignment issues with the rails, but the cabinet door was a bit of an issue until I remembered the instructions show how to adjust it in the last page. I noticed the drawers weren’t moving smoothly at certain points, so I realized the screws that hold the rails on the dresser walls needed to be fully flush to avoid any sticking issues. After I tightened those screws, everything worked well. Overall, I’m very satisfied with this purchase and I really enjoy walking in the room and seeing this new dresser.. Gabriel. Texas. The assembly for the drawer runners drove us insane a little bit, as the tracks were not labeled and the different styles were mixed together. Once completed, some of the drawers are a little stiff and don’t slide smoothly, though that could always be a slight error on our part while setting it up. The knobs are a pretty cheap quality, I may switch them out at a later date. I saw a lot of mixed reviews mentioning misaligned drawers and bad pre-drilled holes, but that wasnt my experience at all. While assembly was definitely time-consuming and tedious, it was pretty straightforward, and everything aligned perfectly for me. The kit does come with a Phillips head screwdriver, but like most pre-packed furniture tools, the handle isnt very comfortable. If you dont have a nicer screwdriver already, Id recommend getting one because your hand will hurt after driving so many screws. I used a cordless screwdriver, which made driving screws into the areas without pre-drilled holes a lot easier, though you could definitely manage without one. The color and dimensions are 100 accurate to the product description online. However, as other reviews have noted, the drawers are on the shallow side. More importantly, the drawer slides are set up so the drawers do not pull out all the way. There is a good 4 to 5 inches per drawer that stays inside the unit when fully opened. I think this is probably a safety feature to prevent tipping, and for my needs—storing clothing like sweatshirts and sweatpants—it really doesnt matter. That said, I would not recommend this unit if you want to store something like craft supplies, as reaching smaller items out of the back of the drawers would get annoying. The drawers do feel a little bit flimsy and loose when pulling them in and out, which is where its most obvious that this is a flat-pack piece of furniture. However, I was able to fit them together easily, they are perfectly aligned, and they stay on their tracks without any issues. This dresser fits the bill for what we needed. I will admit that it took me the better part of two days to construct it. There are very few words in the instruction manual. It was a fun puzzle. There were 278 instances of screwing a connection. I did more than that because at a couple of points I had constructed parts of it incorrectly based upon the non-instructions so had to disassemble and re-assemble. Some parts of this cabinet are solid wood but most are composite wood which doesn’t do well with re-worked screw holes. A few broken off toothpicks and a little wood glue fixed these instances! The top suggestion that should have been in the instructions is: Do not over tighten screws in the composite board! It strips the screw holes and makes a wobbly connection. I learned it through experience pretty quickly, but spent an hour or so strengthening those connections after I had made this mistake. I know the instructions say construction of this chest should be by two adults, but that would never have worked with me and my husband. He has different gifts. This chest of drawers requires a love of puzzles, patience and the desire to learn new skills. I actually loved building it and the result is solid, fully functional and attractive.. Cheryl. Ample storage and beautiful color! The drawers are not perfectly aligned, and bump slightly when you close them. I would play around with them until you find the perfect order. I really love this dresser. It’s solid, well-made, and looks great in my space. I especially like the rounded corners, which give it a modern and warm look. Putting it together was straightforward. There were a lot of parts, but they were clearly marked and the instructions were clear. The one small problem I had during assembly was with the wood-grain screw hole cover stickers. It was nearly impossible to get them off the backing. I only managed to get two off and ruined eight others. But that’s minor and the screw holes aren’t visible on the outside, so not a huge deal.
