The arbor is beautiful and strong. I gave it 4 stars because there is an issue. The lattice is made of very thin cedar (less than 1/4 of an inch) and it is stapled together. A few or the staples came loose during assembly and will need to be redone. I am considering adding stronger cedar boards on the sides to strengthen it. At this price point, I think the manufacturer should have used stronger wood for the lattice. There were also a few bumps and marks, but these were minor. Overall it seems well made and easy to assemble. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. The one question about when the arbor could be painted was answered by the company very promptly. The only negative was that two of the 4" lag screws used to attach the top of the arbor to the sides sheared in half while being "manually" screwed in with a hex screw driver. Had to get replacement bolts to finish putting it together. Strongly suggest you get some extra hardware and return to the store if not needed. Very happy so far ( 2days) with the final product.. This arbor was easy to put together. I planted this climbing rose a couple years ago and just finished the fence. So we were finally able to put an arbor up. Its lovely and its a perfect fit.
