40 Inch Entryway Bench

This entryway bench greets you upon your return home, inviting you to sit down, take your shoes off, and relax. Made from solid pine wood, this bench has two drawers in addition to its gridded shoe shelf, so you have a place to store out-the-door essentials like umbrellas, grocery tote bags, or sunglasses. The cushion is removable and has a removable cover in a washable polyester blend. We love the way that this bench’s simple design brings a laid-back feel to your foyer, and makes it easy to be just a little more organized.

This storage bench sits perfectly in my entryway. My one issue is that the custom is really hard and uncomfortable, but it looks great, its sturdy, the drawers pull smoothly, and the bottom tier offers additional space for shoes, boots, and storage baskets. There is a vent on the floor in my entry and because of the wood slats in the shelves I was able to set it over the vent without blocking the airflow. The bench is not very wide, so it doesn’t stick out into my entry, but it’s wide enough to sit on and bend over to put on shoes. My husband has large feet and his shoes. Don’t stick out from the shelves. (Although one shoe in the photo is not pushed all the way in, so it appears to stick out) I was so surprised to realize how well the fabric matches my walls!
