I wish I had known this earlier — I initially avoided these and bought the hanging balloon spinners instead because I thought the wind spinners came in only one height. I purchased two of these, and unfortunately, the batteries in both did not work. Be prepared to buy rechargeable replacements right away. I learned this the hard way after charging the original battery for eight hours and getting zero illumination that night. The Wind Spinner is absolutely beautiful! The instructions were quite simple and easy to assemble. The Wind Spinner rotates 360 degrees around. Strong and sturdy material along with colors that are neutral to blend in any area of the yard. I didn't need the added rod for height. 60 inches high was more than enough.
