This shelf arrived packaged well with no damage. The instructions were fairly clear and the shelf is quite light making the building experience simple. The only hang up I had was with the back cover, as there are very many small screws and on my product the pre-drilled holes did not perfectly align with the cover's screw holes. The bookcase itself is very nice, but some holes didn't line up when putting it together. Also the top portion and the bottom portion do not line up flush across the front. They are offset from each other. I did not see anything explaining that the pegs that hold the shelves are made of plastic. I really like the look of this cabinet! I got it to house my purses. It fit perfectly into my entry closet, although I had to finish constructing it inside the closet, which was tricky.
