Higher CRI ratings indicate how natural the colors look under the light. This product has a high CRI index of 90. That was a critical factor, because, many manufacturers do not list that specifications likely because of lower ratings, which result in less than desirable color accuracy. These are made well, good quality so far. The light they give off is impressive for 4". I considered 6" initially but did not want super obvious recessed lighting so went with the fours. Glad I did.
