The box comes with instructions, which we followed with a few hiccups inbetween. Parts felt solid/durable, with a decent weight to the heftier components. Good quality faucet. You might need this model over model 8244, which has 4.5" handles, if your spay nozzle is less than four inches from the cold water valve. I learned that the colored foil stickers for hot and cold can be removed, exposing a recessed chrome area with recessed H and C lettering within.
