Featuring an extra-tall backboard, the upholstered shelter bed makes a statement full of texture with a woven-inspired body and subtle circular legs.

The only detractor from this purchase is WAYFAIR itself. Their website can't differentiate Queen to King. Their email system of communication was non-existent if not confusing. And the delivery date missed. Now as for the Product, this is a good item - but that has more to do with the Manufacturer, than Wayfair. Luxurious, nice curves, low profile. The height of your mattress is an issue, get the bed first, and then adjust with the correct box spring from there. Oh - and Wayfair did allow an earlier delivery time, than other sellers, so that is a positive. PS - I hate the bate switch offer for 10% discount, when it doesn't apply to repeat customers. What BS!. Philip. Schaumburg, IL. Wed Feb 04 2026

This solid wood bed brings contemporary flair to your bedroom. Featuring column supports in a weathered sepia finish, it's made with a solid wood frame. Vertical channel tufting on the headboard adds a refined touch, while slats are included for mattress support without the need for a box spring (mattress sold separately).

This bed is beautiful. Great quality. Sturdy and well made. Heavy and solid materials. the fabric is a taupe or Greige color. Fairly close to the color in the photo but I would say slightly darker in person. If you are looking for a very neutral color bed this would be great. Its going to last a very long time.. Tracy. Mon Jul 13 2026

A minimalist look that doesn’t try too hard. This platform bed pairs a solid wood frame with boucle upholstery for a mix that feels both relaxed and refined. Choose from a natural wood finish with taupe boucle upholstery or a walnut finish with cream boucle upholstery—two combinations that bring warmth and texture in their own way. We were moving, so although this bed came with white glove delivery, we were unable to have them set it up before as it needed to be moved to a new house. Because of that we had to build it ourselves. Unfortunately, a couple pieces of the hardware were not delivered with the bed, including 24 feet of the bed, but it was an easy enough fix to go get them from a hardware store. We ended up needing to replace all 4 feet to ensure that the bed would sit level. Otherwise, very good quality, beautiful design.. Caitlin. Plymouth, MA. Thu Jul 23 2026

Its warm Boulder medium-brown finish frames a softly upholstered headboard and base, creating a serene and inviting focal point for your bedroom. The bed's clean lines and natural wood accents evoke a sense of refined tranquility, perfect for a restful retreat.

Beautiful bed. Appears to be quite sturdy. The wood color is a nice blend of gray and brown. It will need a box spring for sure. The slats sit very low, so the box spring is needed to keep the mattress at the level of the sides of the bed. Otherwise, changing the sheets would be a real bear.. Pam. Indialantic, FL. Sun Oct 04 2026

Subtle, modern elegance. A low, tufted headboard in neutral, chenille-like covering pairs with a simple gunmetal iron base.

This wingback platform bed features an upholstered frame wrapped in polyester to bring cozy texture and a tailored look to your space. The clean-lined silhouette incorporates a padded headboard and a matching footboard, creating a relaxed spot to lean back while reading or watching TV. It's crafted with a solid and engineered wood frame, anchored by center support legs for added stability. Included solid wood slats support your mattress without needing a box spring. Plus, this bed is designed to be compatible with an adjustable bed base.

This is a beautiful bed, and I absolutely love the shape and style. Unfortunately, there are two significant issues. First, the color is very misleading. I ordered Oatmeal expecting a warm beige or neutral fabric based on the listing photos. In person, it reads VERY gray—much more gray than beige or even greige. I’ve tried it in different lighting and with different bedding, and the gray undertone is still very noticeable. This is especially disappointing because the design itself is exactly what I was looking for. The listing also states that this bed is compatible with an adjustable base. While our adjustable base fits inside the bed frame, when we raise the mattress and then return the base to the flat position, the mattress gets caught on the bed frame and does not come back down properly. We have to manually push the mattress back into place every time. So, although an adjustable base technically fits, I would not consider it fully functional or truly compatible with one. I’m adding photos to hopefully help anyone considering this bed. The style is beautiful, but if you’re specifically looking for a warm beige or oatmeal color or regularly use the adjustable functions of your base, these are definitely things to consider before purchasing.. This is a great deal. The only reason it didn’t get 5 stars is because the headboard feels a little less sturdy of a connection than it could be. But it’s beautiful and can fit a lot of home designs. Good clearance under the bed for storing things.. Brooke. San Diego, CA. Thu Oct 15 2026
