I am so happy the tiles all came in top shape! The packaging was absolutely amazing and they are even way more beautiful in person! I had planned to use them in a mosaic to cover my cinder blocks on By outdoor Kicthen BBQ. Aqua…..beautiful…..wish they offered samples. I Had to buy a box….absolutely fell in LOVE!!! Then sent the box back and ordered 6 more boxes for my project, so they would all be the same dye lot. I was so excited…..Well, I was sent a completely different tile. Not even close to the stunning color of the actual first box sent to me. Very disappointing nonetheless ! We were Inspired by Guastavino's exquisite tile arch when we create our Guastavino tile Collection; Guastavino was a Spanish architect and builder. Based on the Catalan vaults he created the Guastavino tile, a "Tile Arch System" patented in the United States in 1885 and used for constructing robust, self-supporting arches and architectural vaults using interlocking terracotta tiles and layers of mortar. Guastavino tile is found in some of New York's most prominent Beaux-Arts landmarks and in major buildings across the United States. It is used in a huge number of architecturally important and famous buildings with vaulted spaces. Guastavino was not the principal architect for most of the projects.

The coloring was what I was looking for at a reasonable price. I pre-order samples before making my full order.. Michelle. LA. Wed Sep 29 2021
