Minus 1 star because its a few inches smaller than 8x10. Feels thick under foot. Low points are 14 high, high wool balls are 1. You dont feel the lows though because of how tightly woven the rug is. Comfortable enough for sitting but I plan on getting a rug pad to make it thickersofter. Its very heavy, so it doesnt slide around much on its own unless you have pets running into it. Colors go from a deep red to a light pink with dusty rose colored jutetwine woven between them. Not soft to the touch, More rough just imagine youre petting rows of felted wool and twine and thats exactly what this feels like.
