This accent cabinet was packaged well and not damaged. One of the drawer handles wasn’t attached, but we found all the screws and put it on, no problem. Some mentioned that it was too distressed, but I like it the way it is. It’s perfectly vintage and goes with my she-shed theme. It feels sturdy enough - not flimsy. I noticed when adding supplies that the drawers don’t have anything to keep them from coming all the way out out when opening. So I’ll just have to be careful with that. Occasionally I find things on here that I just absolutely adore. This is one of them! Made of solid wood and just has a really nice look and feel to it. I printed out labels for all the little inserts on a piece of decorative Card stock. Otherwise I would never know what was in the drawers there are so many! Surprisingly even though the drawers are fairly small, they actually fit quite a bit of stuff. The bottom two are a bit wider and deeper and surprisingly hold my ruffler feet – which are fairly large if youre not familiar with sewing machine pieces. Holds lots of stuff. I removed a star because it took almost 3 hours to put together, and that was an experienced handyman that did it. He said it was very involved. The veneer on the desktop came with dark, greasy fingerprints and chips missing around the edges. The instructions that were included did not match in any way, shape or form, the product in the box. The part list did not have all of the parts. The assembly pictographs were unclear, and most of them did not match the parts that I eventually used. Many of the metal fasteners stripped while I tightened them, despite using a hand screw driver and many years experience in carpentery. The copious amount of extra hardware included indicates they have a generic package of hardware that they ship, but many of the components still do not match what is in the instructions. The chest looks nice. The quality is good. However, the drawers only pull out about half way. Very weird. I thought about returning it but I can make it work. I read the reviews about the drawer problem but still ordered it because I liked it (I don't always trust the reviews). Also, in the product description the drawer dimensions are not listed. Nice piece - it fit perfectly in my laundry room between my washer slop sink which is exactly what I was looking for! Note that there is only 1 top “cap” piece so splitting these units up into more than 1 stack will leave the other stacks without a top - not an issue with all 4 stacked like I have but just FYI. The rose gold handle situation is a little off putting for a guy’s space but hey, it’s a laundry room so who cares!
