The main stand is sleek and easily hides up against a post on our pool cage and the receiving post is also barely noticeable behind a planter, we just need to create a cap for it so water doesn't sit inside and lizards don't setup shop in there. The screen itself feels thick and sturdy, the color is exactly what we wanted and it is not see through. This patio privacy screen seemed to instantly elevate our deck by creating more of a barrier between our deck and our neighbors, on one side. We bought three of these to create some privacy from our neighbors at an awkward angle near our fence. They’re very pretty and do a great job of creating some privacy without being too harsh. Assembly wasn’t complicated, but it was tedious and a bit frustrating. You need to screw multiple nuts into bolts in very tight spaces and the parts are not machined well, so they don’t fit easily. Also, the tools they provide are nearly useless. After assembling the third one, my fingers were like raw hamburger. I recommend investing in a ratchet tool if you’re purchasing multiple screens. As others have said, they’re sturdy but aren’t going to sustain any significant wind. We installed them in soft ground with the included stakes but we will need to reinforce them as they’ll quickly lean. The flower design creates sharp edges that poke out and can easily hurt you.
