This wall panel was a great addition to my home. It instantly transformed the look of the space and gave the entrance a modern, upscale appearance. The panels were easy to cut and surprisingly simple to install. For installation, I used construction adhesive (Liquid Nails) to attach the panels to my brick wall, as shown in the photos. Be prepared to purchase a generous amount of adhesive, especially for larger projects. Since the glue took more than 24 hours to fully cure, I recommend using temporary supports or braces to hold the panels securely in place during that time. One thing I really appreciated is that the panels worked well even on an uneven surface, which made installation much easier than expected. Overall, the finished result looks absolutely stunning and completely elevated the aesthetic of the entrance. I’m very happy with how it turned out. I used 4 panel total for this project. Really beautiful and natural color. We got the carbonized color and it’s a nice, pale, classic bamboo color. We used it as a ceiling for our small laundry room. Make sure not to get it wet or place it in a room where it might get splashed or dirty. We dripped a small amount of something on this before installing it (in the middle of a major remodel), and when I wiped it off, the space that got a little damp changed color permanently to a greenish gray color. Thankfully that portion was mostly covered by the wide cedar plank trim we used. I think the only way to clean this would be to let whatever got on it dry and then carefully scrape it off. Finally, know that it definitely needs trim around the edges as the ends of the bamboo can splinter pretty easily when bumped. But once it is installed it looks amazing! Many reasons made them disappointing. 1) They are hard to cut. 2) The bubbles are so deep that I have big gapping holes where the outlet and vent are. 3) It says you can get deep pieces for the outlet covers, but the spaces vary from 0 to 6”, so a box doesn’t help. 4) It says ready to paint or stain, but with what kind of paint we can not figure out. We even brought them to a paint store and they basically laughed at me when I said they were paintable. They sugggested a $30 quart bond to be painted on first, then a paint over that.
