I’ve already gotten compliments on these panels. They add a much needed accent to a wall that was way too bare. They also are not overwhelming to the space but do add an illusion of height. I dropped one star for assembly issues. I started with liquid nails but no matter how long I held them, they slipped out of place when I let go. I was so excited about these, but they are not the reality I was hoping for. Many reasons made them disappointing. 1) They are hard to cut. 2) The bubbles are so deep that I have big gapping holes where the outlet and vent are. 3) It says you can get deep pieces for the outlet covers, but the spaces vary from 0 to 6”, so a box doesn’t help. 4) It says ready to paint or stain, but with what kind of paint we can not figure out. We even brought them to a paint store and they basically laughed at me when I said they were paintable. They sugggested a $30 quart bond to be painted on first, then a paint over that. I love the wall molding but was not easy or at least the way I installed was not easy so I gave it 4 stars. I glued them together first and then painted them the color of my wall. The next day I installed them. The larger piece came apart so the glue did not work so I nailed them to the wall. This wall panel was a great addition to my home. It instantly transformed the look of the space and gave the entrance a modern, upscale appearance. The panels were easy to cut and surprisingly simple to install. For installation, I used construction adhesive (Liquid Nails) to attach the panels to my brick wall, as shown in the photos. Be prepared to purchase a generous amount of adhesive, especially for larger projects. Since the glue took more than 24 hours to fully cure, I recommend using temporary supports or braces to hold the panels securely in place during that time. One thing I really appreciated is that the panels worked well even on an uneven surface, which made installation much easier than expected. Overall, the finished result looks absolutely stunning and completely elevated the aesthetic of the entrance. I’m very happy with how it turned out. I used 4 panel total for this project. This was definitely worth the wait! This wainscoting was so easy to install, it and was the perfect accent piece for this end wall. I love that it did not need to be nailed onto the wall, so filling nail holes and repainting was not needed. We used a common construction adhesive.
