Easy to work with, process is a bit tedious and time Consuming due to prep work and finishing details. We chose to attach to the wall using a brad nailer instead of glue to avoid wall damage if neededwant to remove in the future. So we had to caulk the seams as well as the nail holes, then sand, and we finishes it with two coats of our wall color in a glossier finish. I love that it did not need to be nailed onto the wall, so filling nail holes and repainting was not needed. We used a common construction adhesive. I picked these stone veneers as they were neutral colored. I went back and painted a light white over the veneers and sponged the paint in. Added a wood frame and indirect lighting. Love the wall and am so happy with the overall look. I ordered 16 veneers in all so four packages. I laid them all out on the floor first to get a pattern that flowed. The veneers don’t all lay flat so I used a wood frame behind them and attached them to the frame with Brad nails. Easy to attach to frame and with the nails and you can pull them off and adjust if need be. Very easy to work with. I even had to cut 5” off the bottom row and super easy to cut with jigsaw. Really beautiful and natural color. We got the carbonized color and it’s a nice, pale, classic bamboo color. We used it as a ceiling for our small laundry room. Make sure not to get it wet or place it in a room where it might get splashed or dirty. We dripped a small amount of something on this before installing it (in the middle of a major remodel), and when I wiped it off, the space that got a little damp changed color permanently to a greenish gray color. Thankfully that portion was mostly covered by the wide cedar plank trim we used. I think the only way to clean this would be to let whatever got on it dry and then carefully scrape it off. Finally, know that it definitely needs trim around the edges as the ends of the bamboo can splinter pretty easily when bumped. But once it is installed it looks amazing!
