This fan is so adorable yet does a fantastic job moving air around. We installed this within 20mins. There was a bit of mixup when screwing in the fan blades but realized it when we turned it on. The very last part of install was the light and there were two male connections instead of a male female, but just cut the end off and hardwired it not a big deal. The fan works well. I was surprised that the wall switch is powered by batteries rather than being wired in. While that may be a benefit for some people, it required a second hole to be made in my wall. On top of that, my workman didn't consider the placement of the switch as esthetically as I would have preferred when he cut the hole for it. So far I love these fans. Ordered them together (2) so they would match rooms that are next to each other. The light is bright enough for large rooms, but can be dimmed, It has 6 speeds which is more than my last fans (only had 3), sturdy, so much lighter than my old ones and easy to put together (per hubby). The real wood blades are nice and very light weight. The wind speed works well for our living room and kitchen. Remote is easy to use and I like that there is a timer on the fan also of 1, 4 and 8 hours. There are 3 light settings so you can choose soft, day, and very bright (the bluish type) to fit your room needs. We like the soft one for the living room and the medium one for the kitchen.
