This carpet is exactly what I needed! I needed another carpet at my front door entryway to help when it snows and rains. This doormat looks like it will work great for grabbing dirt from outside on shoes and paws so it doesn’t track into the house. The reason I think this is that the material is rougher, and woven so that surface up close is not smooth and flat. It’s more like a loop weave. I am not sure how absorbent it will be, but it does seem like you could absorb excess fluid with a towel if needed.
