We were seeking out a dry storage option for our smoker pellets. We wanted to store them outside instead of in my dining room. This box is the perfect solution. One e we figured out how the tabs worked, assembly went quickly and smoothly. We had this up and going in under 5 min. We have had some rain since we started using it. But so far, nice and dry. If I had the need I would buy another. They would be really cute lined up. While you could use this as a side table, I would sit in it for safety reasons. It has the possibility to meet many varied needs. I would personally not use it inside, but that is because of the plastic look. Great at first cute, nice feel, beautiful wood texture, but its cheap and poorly produced. Because the wood is very sensitive and not strong, it starts to wobble after you move it around a couple of times, or just after a couple years - especially if you dont empty it first before mixing.
