Kimberly. Montreal, QC. Wed Feb 18 2026

We haven’t opened it yet but hope to have it installed in the next few days. It’s the perfect size and shape for our small bathroom. Edit had our contractor install the shower. It was helpful to have a second set of hands to hold it during part of the assembly but for the most part he did the install by himself. It’s a beautiful, solid, well built shower and we love it. Create a sophisticated bathroom space with unparalleled ease and speed. Utile by MAAX is an innovative shower walls solution, available in a range of rich colors, deep textures, and stylish patterns that look and feel like tile. Why is Utile superior to tile? Starting with purchase and installation: with tile, several other materials are required, and a professional must complete the 3-day installation. Alternatively, Utile walls do not require the purchase of other materials except silicone, and a few tools if not already in hand. They are fixed directly on the studs in 1 day and do not require hiring an expert! As for the long run, tile is a sturdy material; however, grout requires regular care and maintenance to keep its look and integrity long term. Utile walls, on the other hand, offer smooth textures or have realistic and carefree faux grout lines that will not crack!

This is a great shower. One thing - please note that the interior length is around 46.5", *not* 45.5" as shown above. After prep, the installation took just an hour or so. The individual pieces are light enough to be carried by one guy, so it was easy to unload and handle. Very much recommended.. Mdci. Maury County, TN. Thu Apr 30 2026
