36inch Wide Wardrobe Cabinet

This freestanding armoire keeps your space organized and clutter-free. It's crafted from engineered wood, making it easy to suit your home's layout. Two large paneled doors open to reveal a sizable interior that includes a clothing rod and two lower tiers. There are also two drawers underneath for folded clothes, towels, and linens. To round out the design, there's even room on top for storage or display. We also love that it features an adjustable shelf and a metal hanging rod to maximize your storage potential.

The American Country Vintage Armoire works very well for our guest bedroom. It’s a bit flimsy, but we are bolting it to the wall which (instead of using the anti-tipping straps) which will strengthen it nicely. The doors line up well we added a mirror to the inside doors for our guests. The hardware package had everything we needed for assembly each in its own bag-no missingleft over parts! I really appreciated the round stickers in the same print as the cabinet to hide the screw holes. The drawers aren’t very deeplong but I’m using it for linen storage and the occasional house guests so that’s not problematic for us. Four stars due to the cabinet looking a little like a yellow pine color rather than the light brownish I expected. Rated it four out of five stars based on the color-it’s more of a yellowish pine color than the light brown I thought it would be but it’s not a deal breaker.. Goldie Mom. CA. Mon Sep 28 2026

These were were very easy to put together and the construction is sturdy. They look awesome and would have been 5 stars but the color was not as pictured. Its definitely more tan than true natural light wood color.. Erica. East Troy, WI. Sat Oct 03 2026

Not great quality, but it serves the purpose. So glad we paid for assembly, as it came in a million pieces and even the installer said it was difficult to put together. It looks decent enough. There’s a little gap between the doors that is just part of how it’s made. It holds a lot of stuff, though, and I like the shelves inside the doors.. Jennifer. Chicago, IL. Tue Jul 23 2024

Have been looking for a solution for more hanging room in my very small bedroom. I purchased 2 of these wardrobes to flank my full-size bed that sits sideways under a window. The house is very old where they used to have very small closets. I was looking for a "built-in" look and these were the perfect size! I am putting them together by myself (directions say it needs 2 people) but I was able to assemble the 1st one no problem. The wardrobe is very sturdy when assembled. I have the first one all put together and need to put the drawers and doors on the second one. I am very happy with the color! I may replace the gold knobs if I find some more whimsical ones, but this will help eliminate the 2 portable clothes racks that have graced my bedroom since I bought this old house! I won't feel like I am sleeping in a closet. They have totally opened up the space in the room. I will post pictures once all are assembled!. Sue. US. Fri May 22 2026

Unfortunately, I can’t give a full review yet because one of the boards was missing from the package. I will say I contacted wayfair who contacted the manufacture and got a message without a day or two saying a new one was being sent. Once I have it fully together will update review!. Jamie. These were slightly overpriced, in my opinion, but ultimately exactly what we needed--we had a height restriction, as well as a desired depth--and are serving us nicely. Assembly note: you have to drill holes in the doors, for the hinges, and I was a little worried that was going to lead to issues, but it worked out fine...I didn't have to adjust the doors at all, really (maybe I got lucky). Otherwise, these look great and do their job admirably! (tip: I used some of the cardboard from the box to support them on the carpet...without it, they weren't sitting quite straight / evenly).
