The Prehung doors took quite a bit to get them up and fitted and screwed in. But they're in and they look good. The prehung part is not a solid frame, but pieces that have to be assembled, screwed together and mounted. We got it done and did 3 doors. It's nice having doors when company comes. The door is trimable as advertised but really less than 1 inch at the top and bottom should be trimmed at most. We installed a barn door railing system and wanted a door that still matched other doors. This was our best option. If we didn't want the 6 panels there are less expensive options. Our product package contains only one door slab. Hardware kit, door frame, hinges, etc. are not included. The door panel is FULLY assembled, no need to assemble it again. The door can be painted. Before painting, sand the surface with fine sandpaper of 320 mesh or above, and then paint with water-based paint or lacquer for better adhesion.
